Re: Slough / Windsor
Welcome to the TVSF buddy. There are loads of us in the area, check out the map in my signature to see where everyone is.
Dont worry about the Honda thing, we did a straw poll last night at our regualar meet and only 1 out of 5 of us still had an SV. Of course a couple of the guys might be extremely jealous of your bike - I'm thinking of Ogden in particular.

Re: Slough / Windsor
Not really sure to be honest mate. I'll see how the money situation looks when the prices fall in November / december. i'm still considering a CBR, but probably an FS rather than the RR. I'll keep the ZZR for winter anyway. Also tempted by an older ZX9 / ZX7 or a 97 blade, but that will depend on insurance quotes...I need to test ride a few things before I decide.

Re: Slough / Windsor
ill give you 800 for the sv given how many times youve dumped in a ditch or alternitivly the zzr and about a bit of cash maybe.

Re: Slough / Windsor
ah but its got all new bits on it now plus only 13000 miles and i've already got a bloody zzr - one is quite enough, people will think I have a barge fetish or something

Re: Slough / Windsor
If you get a CBR fs though isn't it a little too similar to the zzr? I mean, it will be clearly better, but then why have the zzr? Surely you want two different kind of bikes, like a sports tourer and a supermoto for commuting, or a cbrr track bike and a GS500 hack, something like that?
And welcome viffer owner! So what is your connection with svs? Or did you just hear about how awesome the TVSF section is and wanted to join? |

Re: Slough / Windsor
Welcome to the club!
I had a VFR once, a '99 pre Vtec. Also had a VTec hire bike when I wrote the old viffer off. Great bikes! |
