I'm sure a few of the more *ahem* experienced members could tell you how to go about hot wiring it but not exactly a long term solution is it?
How the hell did you loose both sets tho??

I think Suzuki can make you a new key from the frame number? Though how much it costs and how long it takes I don't know. Suppose I should get another set cut, I've lost one... (I lost a set found it again a month later and lost the other set the next day...)

No, that's right - Suzuki cannot supply keys from a frame number.
However, if you have the original handbook that came with the bike, there is a spot in it in which to write the key number, with a bit of luck the original owner will have done so, and with a bit more luck you've actually got the book. Failing that, if you remove the lock from the bike and take it to a locksmith, (such as Keys Galore in Gloucester Avenue NW1), they may well be able to either extract some ID from it or possibly cut you a key to fit. Fingers crossed.

but hes sure there is no ID on the barrell.... called the lock smith reccomended and hes seems to think he can do it with the ID and still possible with out it ........ just wondering how he would do this.... if not no major dramas as i need the barrel out anyway if i need all the locks changed........ man i have the worlds worst luck. |

had about 10 kids and 5 adults look for it one night the grass was fairly short . nobody could find it after an extensive search. a neighbours friend has a metal detector, i borrowed it and found it in less than 10 mins. if grass in on your route i strongly advise you to have a go with one. i would not have believed we didn't see it |
