Lotus variable compression two-stroke
Not a bike engine, but looks very interesting. It's a variable compression two-stroke that can run on many different types of fuel and is claimed to be 10% more fuel efficient than a conventional petrol engine.

Re: Lotus variable compression two-stroke
I am a two stroke fan and was very interested when I first read about this some months ago. I still believe the two stroke is not dead and will re-emerge. Unfortunately the big manufacturers are so involved with 4 stroke development that two stoke development is being overlooked and that's a shame.
