Lakes Ride out Sunday 22nd August

Im going for a ride out this Sunday, weather permitting, around the lakes.

Anyone fancy joining me?

i might be game for that, whats the plan?

I normally like to go from Newby Bridge up to Windermere, over Kirkstone Pass to Penrith, or up the A595 along the West Coast.

I suppose it depends where everyone is coming from to where we meet and plan a route around that.

I'd be tempted, weather permitting. I'd be tempted just to have a perv on your bike as well Gaz, I like the look of them (especialy after my mate told me they can do 80 in 1st gear!) I usually drop down to Windermere via the A5074 so thats a good meet up point for me.

Did someone mention Hartside?

The more the merrier Dave, I dont mind Hartside but its not my favourite, last time I went up I ended up locking the back wheel coming into a hair pin!!!

If everyone who wants to come PM's me their number ill text/call Saturday with some kind of plan. I am working away for the next two days so will have limited interent access.

How many times exactly have you done that now?
