It was. beside I don't think that would do a thorough enough job, wouldn't touch the sides.

That should help a lot.
Either method will do the trick, specially f you use the extension nozzle

It worked, mostly. stuck the straw from the can right up the drain hole and squirted. A shedload of brown/grey gunk came out, then got the fairings off, and radiator forward to pull the plug cap off, sprayed with more air duster, more gunk came out, repeated a few dozen times, with a bit of WD40 on occasion. plugged it all in and it worked, though seems a bit rough. Will take it out for a spin dry tomorrow, when it isn't raining.

Give it another squirt before/after the run. Will help.
A good run will do it the world of good too.

Forgot to ask on the fenda extenda, can the clip holding the speedo cable to re-used once it has been unclipped once. Easiest way of installing the fenda extenda seems to be to take the fender off.

Yes, although its a bit tricky to squeeze back in place. You can zip tie the speedo cable loosely to the brake hose to keep it in place.

I used silicon sealant to glue my extenda in place, let it set overnight. Use the fixing screws if you want to, but I didn't bother.
