Default Thursday Night Riding Club

Anyone fancy going for a bimble this Thursday night.

The weather is forecast to be good and I've been given a pass to go out for a play, no route ideas so far but it'll start in Glasgow.

Anyone interested?

I'm afraid my presence is urgently required here on Thursday night.

But if you're going to be passing through, pop in and collect your book.

Well Thursday Night Riding Club turned into afternoon test ride challenge....

Tried a Yamaha Tracer for a few hours, great bike stonking engine but there was no love. Don't think me having a fairing is a good idea because the Tracer is quick felt quite without cans but I must say it's quite happy to lift the front crests at *cough* speeds when on the throttle.

I'm a little tippy toed on it but its seat is quite narrow so I was fine, I did feel as if I was miles high when I was riding it though... I've put a couple of words on L3nny's test ride challenge thread (probably a meandering mess as I didn't read it after I'd written it)

Dean have you thought about just getting a second hand Ducati ST3-4 as a second bike for touring. cracking very underrated bikes than come with full luggage for not much dosh. dont be put off with the belts and valve timing as its a piece of pizz to service and if you get a dry clutch one you can use car oil it it

You're a bad man, but I love ya. I hadn't thought about one and I'd want a test ride. But

the early ones are the air cooled ones and the more reliable of them add to that its a 900cc twin

you will pick up a low mileage one in great condition with all the boxes for around £3k. they are built around the 900ss so light and nimble with surprisingly comfy seats.
