Hi, my sv650 K4 wont start, the engine turns over but there is no fuel pump noise. Ive checked the obvious-clutch and stand sensors + kill switch but everything seems ok. I've also done the 'dealer mode' and it shows c00 so thats fine. I'm stuck now and I don't fancy a big repair bill from a garage. HELP!!!!

Thanks for reply. The bike's only done 4200 miles and i've owned it since new. Although I don't ride it much I always start her up every few days. Surely the pump hasn't gone with so little milage? There's also FI warning when I try and start it. Ive been told it may be the tip sensor? how do I reset it/chech it? Also can i put 12v directly into the pump to check it?

If no then I wouldn't start looking at the tip over sensor, (well, not yet anyway). Yes, you can put 12V on to the pump to check it works, but I'd see if there's 12V at the wiring connector when there should be.

Well then, that makes the tip over sensor even less likely to be the problem.
