haha, indeed. I almost bought a Durst Automatic that I spotted on the Bay of Pigs, it went for 99p in the end (one other bidder), I couldn't be bothered bidding against someone when I was really only going to buy it because of its rarity and 99p-ness.

Large bright viewfinder on the Ensign

It has been stripped and cleaned. I have also re-calibrated the rangefinder on the Zorki. Was a bit out!

Kind of lost track on eBay. I've got a Pentax P30T, a Coronet Six Six and a Voightlander Vito B coming. Oops.

You've got the disease! I have to admit, I may also be infected. Have just picked up a Vitomatic II (wanted IIa but...) for £3.99 plus P&P on the Bay of Pigs. Skopar lens, unit focus, meter apparently works, but otherwise sold as seen as untested, so hopefully no nasty surprises. There was an Olympus OM-1 going locally for £15, but someone had dibs on it already.

And I still have 3 pictures left on my Ikonta... must get thumb out...

Hahaha, I love the looked of those, but scale focus AND lack of meter is more than I can be botethred with at the moment.

I have a add-on rangefinder if need be, and I was given a free lightmeter with the dented one.

The Pentax P30t arrived today. Totally minging. The whole thing was caked in god knows what. Its had a good clean but there is a scratch on the lens and it needs some LR44 batteries to fire up properly. I had some that were best before 2011 and I got the shutter to fire but they will need fresh ones.

Hmm whereabouts on the lens, front or back? I think you can smooth it off a bit with some jeweller's rouge or something similar, stop the light flaring off the sharp edge of the scratch. I'd give it a good wipe with alcohol too by the sound of it!

My Vitomatic is on its way, still not told my wife. Am hoping it takes a few days as I am on shift next week and might intercept it. Is this bad? Finally put my 120 film in to Peak Imaging though.
