Default Curvy or Pointy for track bike?

Hi can anyone help ?? Looking into getting an sv for a track bike is there much difference or benefits from either the carb model or the newer injection?? Does anyone know if any bandit parts are compatable with the sv as I have a few bits and bobs in the garage wheels suspension etc

Thanks Rich

Pointy is more perky out of the box.
I reckon curvy has better rear linkage.

Both can shift in right hands.

Some bandit stuff can work, forks, calipers etc.

Are you picking an SV for any particular reason? Pound per performance there are better options out there.

Just about any SS600 bike is going to outperform an SV in terms of lap times, although a lot will depend on the spec/condition of the suspension. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the SV, and if you really want a twin it's a great choice (you only have to look at what makes up most of a Minitwin grid) but it's that very series that helps keep the SV prices so high. Take a look at some of the older GSXR/CBR/FZR 600's and you'll see what I mean.
