Being told at 11am today that as of tomorrow they are knocking down walls and creating loads of noise and dust in the corridor of 4 offices where I work. They are knocking all of the separate walls of the IT department into 1 large space. They said I should work from home from now until Christmas. Except I need to be here nearly every day, so a bit more notice, them telling my manager and some thought to how this might affect me would have been nice. As it is I'm now going to be stuck in a building site for 2 weeks.

Are you in the IT department space? If so sounds like you need to work from home whatever that means in terms of productivity...sometimes the powers that be need to see things fail to know what mistakes are made...

What are the IT staff doing?

The IT department are all relocating to a hospitality box for 4 weeks. Planned weeks ago apparently. Whereas I and Angus Fraser the Middlesex Managing Director who I have an interconnecting office with have had this sprung on us without any warning!

That is a no name brand & I can see why it broke, cheap & cheerful I'm afraid.

Doubt you'll get a spare

Buy either a set of Motosliders, or a set of R&G bungs to fit you bike. Much better quality & shouldn't snap like that.

Bit more expensive, but they do the job properly

Someone else posted up another guy who makes crash bungs for racers, which also will do the job. I'll try and find that thread

R&G don't snap like that. The bolts snaps at the first excuse and the plastic comes off in one piece. If I'd remembered to pick it up I'd only have to replace the bolt
