Valuation(sp) K5 SVS 5K Miles

Looking at buying a newer SV, like the colour black, and respraying ym K3 is going to be too much ££ and effort.

Looking at this bike, 5000~ miles, K5, looks reasonable condition, its for sale in a auction, just wondering on price??

Its going in for a auction, the firms went into administration..
they had a price of £3199 on their website i just found..
Overpriced then?

Also, if its listed in a auction, think theres any chance they would do me a private deal?
I have minimal knowledge of how business's in administration work.

I'd say £3k is very overpriced for a K5 when you consider that K7s and K8s are usually just past the £3k mark!

£3.2k I'd say is overpriced. Mind you, I'm selling my bike for a few 100s less than I could get if I waited, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask!

one thing i noticed about the newer black framed SV's when i was lookin for myself is they seemed to rust better. (why i brought my K3 in the end)

is it really worth selling ya current bike jus for change of colour? i'd keep the K3 til u wanna upgrade to summit bigger m8

paint's coming off the frame of my K6 badly, corroded to moses but i think it's just shizzle finish from suzuki.

Looking at that more than 2.5k i'd be a bit gutted for paying even more so in the current financal climate as the bike's 4 years old.

Nice bike, very nice bike... but is there a point?
Yes, it's a lovely bike but, there's nothing wrong with yours (ok, it likes to drink).

My point is that it would be painful to drop the nice bike (and I think most of us have dropped a bike at some point), let alone something more serious...
I'd say ride the one you have and when your restriction is up you can get a new one (SV or different).

Would probily mean selling the cage as well..
