Crisis at Christmas

There's me sitting in my nice warm house in my PJs, eating a big bowl of home cooked pasta with some fancy cheese, drinking a glass of port, reading Waitrose weekend magazine planning what nice food to buy for my family for Christmas day. And there's an article about the work Crisis do over Christmas.

It made me realise how lucky I am. The article said £22.32 will pay for a hot meal, a shower, fresh clothes, a health check and ongoing support from Crisis.

I know a bit about this as a colleague volunteers there every festive season and I admire his dedication.

So I've just donated £44.46 so two people less fortunate than me and Stu also get a Christmas dinner and Boxing day curry. Perhaps any other orgers who can spare a few pounds could also make a small donation.
