Default Norfolkline ferries

Just a heads up really.

I used Norfolkline before and was impressed as they were cheap, the staff seemed to have a genuine interest in bikes, and there was loads of room for bikes down with the trucks giving a confidence you could be flexible with times.

Times have changed a little.

On their new fleet the bikes are in with the cars so I reckon there's less space for flexibility (I could be wrong).
I had to pay 15euro for a changed return...no bother and not moaning but didnt happen before.
No seat pads or suggestion to put something to protect seat (I have always had one or other before) before the guy started lashing down and had to be stopped. Also I was told to put my bike on the centrestand and it was up to me if I didnt but it might fall over. Fair enough its debatable but a bit of an attitude.

And most interestingly a sign saying that riders must take responsibilty for securing their own bikes.

So nothing wrong there I guess, but just now nothing special. P&O next time for me.
