Default carb fuel/running problem

put some new carbs on today and got some problems, the front slider does'nt seem to move like the rear one unless you rev it up high then it moves very slightly? also on the front carb i cn't see fuel going in like on the rear one but seems to rev up ok so im guessing there is fuel getting in. idle is ok and then on its own it occasionally wants to idle about 3k then drops after a while and pops alot??? need some help please. its a 2001 curvy

i can slide it with my finger and it feels ok but when i let it go its seems to go back quicker than the one on my rear carb? does the fuel push the slider back when revved up?

air pressure does. Engine creates vacuum and "sucks" it up. if it is returning faster then it does sound like diaphragm is somehow not sealed or has hole.
