Aye, thanks. '78 T140E re-imported back home and restored/improved from knackered.

For sale sadly due to arthritic ankles not liking kick starting.

Whatever happened to kick starters and valve lifters / manual ignition advance - retard ?? Went same way as centre stands unfortunately (on most modern bikes anyway).

Nice to have a seat where the rear part isn't a foot higher than the front and does not need some serious leg lifting to get on the bike.

Cracking restoration job - pity you have to sell now.

The wife loves it for just that reason. I feel she is vulnerable perched up there on the SV and other new bikes too.

Lovely looking bike - congratulations.

Now all you have to do is to keep it clean. Those alloy engine cases are a real pain to keep looking nice. I'd suggest regularly wiping them with ACF-50.

Blapper - have you looked at Alton starter system?
Expensive, but there's no substitute for the bike you really want to ride.
