Default 07 Sv650s Fender eliminator kit

Is there a kit out there where you dont have to cut anything on the bike? I bought one here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB....cWON.m313.lVI

It specifically says no drills or trimming, easy install. Well thats not the case. Theres no way i would be able to install it without cutting out some of the trunck space so it would clear the lights. Not only that the side holes do not match up to my Rear fairings...So am sending this back to them requesting my money back. Guess thats what i get for spending 59$ rather then 130+ for one that might actually fit. Any websites would be appreciated

After doins some more researching it seems alot of fender kits i would need to do some fabrications to the bike in order to make them fit. Hotbodies is the same way. Has anyone got theres done at a dealer? Wonder what a good price would be for one.

The kit from R&G fits with no cutting and you even get to use the original indicators if you want. look on the R&G racing site and it shows a pdf of fitting instructions.

It took me about an hour to do it, the only thing I lost is the plastic clip for the tank prop.

I will post some pictures later.

Not cheap though at about 60 squids

DONT buy evotech for a k7. They are useless. They dont fit properly, and everything feels lose.

When you take the mud flap off, is it just the blinkers, liscense plate braket that just comes off? Or does he whole plastic peice come off all the way down to where the battery is?

Hamicad Tail Tidy - No cutting required at all for me!

http://www.hamicad.co.uk/SV_Fender.html

They also have a very easy instruction guide:

Have a read through before purchasing if you have any concerns.

So thas about $120 right? your dollar is to our $1.50? My thing is if am gonna spend that much on an eliminator i dont want the big bulky turn signals. You think i could get away with them if i buy the integrated brake lights? i think thats what its called, where they blink also not just brake? I just want this thing to look slick back there but reasonable price, no bulkyness of any sort. Kinda wish i just bought the muzzy muffler, fairings, and undertail eliminator on my bike (which they had on the floor) and spent the extra 1800$ with all this aggrovation am going through lol

Is the 1000 and the 650 different on the tail? After taking the shovel part off, my mudflap where the fuse box sits on goes all the way back to the rear most point of the tale almost. Thats where i had my problem with the fender i just bought. If the holes were to line up i would have to cut that under peice off alittle after the tank prop holder..Which would mean i have nothing holding the fuse box back there nor holding the main wiring on the left side of the bike for all my lights in the back. Hope this makes sense to you all lol trying to describe it the best i can with the little knowledge i have on bikes

I didnt need to cut any of that and if I remember the bracket just catches the edges and traps that under piece in place. If anything the space under the seat is probably not waterproof, but I dont think it ever was, I was going to run some silicone sealer round there if only to keep the mouse warm. (See another post) I will try to get another picture with the rear seat cover off, although once the tail piece is in position its difficult to see the join.

One bit I didn't (don't like) is the supplied wiring for the R & G number plate light which obviously has to be connected to stay legal. It just lays in the bottom connected by cheap bullets.
