CG125. Bullet Proof, theres loads of choice and you probably wont loose money on it when time comes to sell it either.

I've got a Hyosung XRX125SM. Great for city commuting. Cheap to run too.

I had a cbr 125 as my first bike, lovely little bike but for the money your friend is talking about maybe a Honda NSR125.

600 is pretty low, 125's are in demand, I think Fireblade was top selling bike in the UK last month followed by YBR 125 and CG125. A good 125 without dents and ropey bits are usually at least £800-£1000 (more if it's a CG). £600 gets a bit of a nail usually. They could always buy a new chinese one but their life expentancy is months in some cases, some are better than others.

Saw a sweet little Aprillia 125 today, confused it for a big bike, almost better looking than the current Mille.

Hyosung GT Comet 125. Great bike! My friend had an 03 SV650 at the same time and they were the same size when parked next to each other! Taught me how to handle a bigger bike once i passed my test. Bit pricey for the new ones though, mine was used, unfaired for ?1800.

Finance?
