'05 ZX6R
I went to Infinity M/C's in Farnborough at teh weekend and they had one of these babys in in Silver.
Wow - what a fantastic looking bike! Has anyone on here got one? I'd love to see some hi res piccies of it outside in daylight. Does anyone know the driver behind the 0% interest? They normally only do this before a radical model change... If not then i'm seriously considering chopping my SV in for one! Dan |

I prefer the look of the 04 model myself. The one without the underseat can etc.

Lovely looking bikes.
According to two the reason for the 0% is because the zx6r is lagging behind the other 600s. |

i'm tempted to just bloody buy one on 0%!
Does anyone reckon it'll be a mega jump from an SV? i've only been riding a year but have been through two SV's already! |

Not having ridden one I can only comment on what I know from other people, but I think one of the huge jumps will be the quality of the suspension. The top end rush, of course, will be huge in comparison. You also might find it a bit sluggish where you would have expected some pull, but that's just due to the differences in the engine setup, not because it lacks torque.

Thats the thing - i've only had mine 4 months.
I think the torque thing will be a big step too as riding using the torque is kind of a beginner thing... if you know what i mean. It's kind of cheating! Using grunt an engine braking instead of having a cheeky powerband to launch you into space! |

Oh, and I have to say, the reason I don't go to bike dealers is because I'll buy another bike if I do.
I was planning on buying something second hand, possibly a curvy SV if I could find one cheap enough, then I test rode the K4 and bought it straight after the ride. If I went test riding anything else I would either run out of money or end up feeling bad about the SV. |
