Alloy wheels, my Zafira had rims that got corroded and so leaked air out over a few days. Got them cleaned up and they were much better.

Astra has similar wheels, the front off side has the same problem.

Just annoying. Too expensive to get them refurbished for the value of the car

Ah bugger, that's sad to read GD. Hope she makes a good recovery. Don't forget to look after yourself too.

Default Gripe of the day - What is yours?

Parents who call their children 'mate.' As in, "Don't do that, mate"

I thought mate was a word (other than the sexual sense) used to underline a closer bond than would otherwise be perceived. Why downgrade your children to 'mate' status?

Pulled my shoulder muscle again, lifting the shopping out of the car, took a couple of weeks to get it better the last time

Bl00dy alloy wheels are a nightmare, always causing problems, never had a problem with steel wheels that a bit of hammerite paint would not fix, but even as early as four years old some alloys leak under the tyre bead and need a refurb, diamond cut ones can look tatty after a few years as the clearcoat is p155 poor and chips easily then the white worm moves in underneath.
