FI light and no fuel pump whine

Stick it in dealer mode and get the error code. You can then find out what it thinks is wrong.

Ps I thought it was my immobiliser, which it might be I suppose, though the zikfz noise leads me to think otherwise. Any thoughts? Abletronics something or other...

Can't remember, though I'm sure it was something trivial like cleaning kill/ignition switches and wiggling connectors.
It worked forever after, at least til I sold the bike on here. I now GS Adventure everywhere. It's frackin' enormous, much like me.

Omg, Can't believe the problem may be such a quick fix for now.

Whenever I get this problem I just turn the key on and to lock, quickly a couple of times, flip the switch like a zealot and it works !!

Now I can take my time trying to remedy / clean / order parts !!
