Well I have had to bodge the Reg/rec this week as the connector had melted, so it's always possible .

Mind you, if it does breakdown, I know who to blame

+1 to Drews post but here ya go...

Arrive, say hello and pay your camping fee or check in to the hotel. Pitch tent, make your way to the catering van whenever you feel hungry, go to the bar to get a pint or find someone doing a beer run. Meet people, walk around, mingle and have a relaxed and informative Friday night.

Saturday morning, up and brekkie when you want, but be ready with a full tank of petrol for a 9.30am pre ride briefing. Rideout will leave at 10 or before and there are plenty of stops for you to have a break, eat, drink and use the loo.
Get back to site, go for a swim, shower, eat when you feel like it, drink as much as you want, go to the bar/nightclub/sit in the field...whatever you fancy.

Sunday, up when you want, brekkie when you want, do what you want and leave when you want.

It's a really informal weekend, the only things we have set times for is the ride itself.

Just relax and enjoy

With a view to having a full tank for the start of the ride, is there a fuel station close to the venue?
Sorry if this has already been covered but it has just entered my mind .....

Not quite right opposite, but just a few hundred yard further up the road. That one is only open until 7pm, but they may stay open later for us. There is another station on the way to Hay-On-Wye. I'll post a thread up tomorrow or Monday with a map showing these so that if people want to fill up on the way to the site, they'll know where to go

Edit - Post 24 in this thread, it was Quiff who said 'right opposite', trust him to be wrong!

I will be arriving anywhere between 10 and 11:30pm (traffic). Is that too late to be putting my tent up? I'm assuming everyone will be awake and chatting till late?

hee hee.. you REALLY aint been to an AR have ya..

by 11.30

Drew will be drunk on cider
Wideboy will be wandering around looking for who nicked his big bud
Girth will have his pants on his head
someone will be knocking down a shed to put on the fire
Rictus will be walking around dressed as Superman or Star treck or similar.
(and on that note Stu is not a good looking girl.. in leather .. stay away she is mine)
and Grinch will be naked and comotose after downing a litre of something very alcoholic mixed with something else.

so yea.. it will be a quiet one.

11pm no one will be in their tents and you will have a beer in your hand before you get off your bike and your tent up by the time u get back from having a wee !

it is fab.. dont miss it
