Default Bulgaria!

Hi All

I've just booked up for two weeks hols in Bulgaria. Normally, I would go to spain or greece, but I wanted a late deal for the trades fortnight and the prices where through the roof!!

Anyway, I got Bulgaria for cheap as chips ( two weeks HB )

Has anybody been before?

So you got a cheap deal on somewhere that you have no idea you would like or not? FFS what are you like? However as it is still outside of the EEC you can have a great holiday and not need a fortune to do it.

Lovely country and gorgeous ladies also.

Went ski ing there earlier this year.

Top tip is take your money in Sterling. cash.

Alot of the exchange places only take cash (they like a bit of hard currency)

i.e. wouldn't do visa debit cash advance or similar - there were cash points so it wasn't a major issue.

plus you get a better rate of exchange with folding.

Found everyone to be really helpful and friendly. Oh yeah and everything was dirt cheap :P
Hopefully will be the same in a summer resort.
