Got someones name on the strap. I like a bit of history with cameras, my Super Frankarette has a Chelmsford postcode written inside as well as a sticker from Westminster Photographic when they were in Cheapside.

This one's in my Canonet 28

A couple of the cases I have, have addresses in them, one is too blotted to read though. One came with its original receipt.

I remember reading good things about the Petri but I can't remember much else. Some info here

I was thinking more about your China trip but hey, if you like it, why not.

I might go and have a look at that Petri later in the week. As you say, me or China; it won't get wasted.
I think one of the cameras I bought came with the original receipt and guarantee.
The x700 I got on Gumtree has a Polish dealer's sticker inside.

Might get a light seal kit for the OM10 and leather/light seals for the FX-D from the same place as you Yoko.

Nice one. I was pleased with the speed of delivery. There's a discount for multiple items too. I think the lightseal foam sheets, foam strings and leather cover came to 26 dollars. Up early this morning so I'm putting lightseals in another minolta. Last one I hope.

Didn't realise that the seals in the OM10 were basically mush.one is on the squiff so amazed it even does anything! Not sure on colour for the fx-d though.

I'd better check my OM10 too when the film comes out. How's the shutter mirror seal? That was what was messing up the XD5. Every time the mirror hit what was left of the foam, little balls of goo were going everywhere.
Colour for the skin is a difficult choice. I was thinking red, but it looked a bit too bright; also considered white before I decided to play safe and go for the blue.

Was it for your friend? Bit rude but if they made a mistake then I guess they could correct it or at least offer it to you. Will you have a bid on it? Like how they list it as an OM10 when its an OM20. Had a go at making some light seals for the OM10. Film door is tight now but need to run a film through to make sure it doesn't leak.
