HEL Brake Lines - SV650.org

I ordered a full set of HEL brake lines for my (naked) K5. It went in for a service and new tyres today, so the lines are getting fitted at the same time. The shop called me a couple of hours later to say that the rear line was too long and that the banjo bolt for the front caliper was the wrong thread.

I called HEL and the guy there apologised profusely and told me that it sounds like I've got the rear line for an 'S' rather than an 'N' (same goes for the banjo bolt) and that he would put replacements in the post tonight. He didn't ask for proof of purchase and when I said I'd post the 'wrong' bits back, he told me not to go to any trouble for their error.

Although they got it wrong in the first place, I was impressed by their attitude to customer service. There's plenty of firms in the bike trade who could learn from them .......

Their customer service is tops. Had a small prob with a kit last year (a split banjo bolt) and they sent out a full set plus spares, washers and more stickers.

Excellent stuff.
