I've known about that for a few years, not much point on a bike tho coz they're mostly sited for front pics.
I still prefer using trucks as cover from the cameras and coppers too sometimes

Med Hughes, head of roads policing for the Association of Chief Police Officers, said it would be 'irresponsible' and dangerous for drivers to change lanes in a bid to avoid detection
Pfff!

Yes, it's "dangerous" and "irresponsible" of people to emergency stop in the outside lane, wait for a bus/lorry to come up the inside and then ride past on the far side of them so camera van operators can't record their plate too, but if you didn't insist on putting speed camera vans on roads where it's safe to do 20 over the posted limit, they'd not need to.

To my mind, yet another illustration of why the current speed enforcement fixation is a dangerous farce, rather than the drivers who attempt to avoid detection. Also, how exactly is changing lanes dangerous? Presumably we ought to all stay in one lane on the motorway the whole time. Oh wait, that's what most people do anyway.
Seems like poetic justice to me; the cretins who resolutely sit in the middle lane no matter what get busted, whilst the more skilled and courteous drivers who change lanes correctly stand a good chance of getting away with it.
