Default Gear linkage.

I've got some rearsets for fleabay. They came without the linkage rod.

How do I remove the linkage from the old set and whats the best way of refitting it to the new set?

Cheers

After market rearsets? If so you'll more than likely need a longer rod.

What make are they?

They're the gold MFW ones from M&P.

Where would I get a longer link from and how easy is it to fit to the rearsets?

FYI the r/sets don't even have the ball joints attached.

You could just get an extention(as some rearsets provide).

PDQ do Valtermotor rear sets and probably be able to get an extension as spares as the jack up plates come with an extention.

If fthat fails, let us know.......

The rose joints are peened/rivetted and will be difficult to remove and refit.
It's not just the rod you need but the linkage assembly - the original is unlikely to do what you need unless your new rearsets put the footrest back in the original place, which I doubt is what you were aiming for. Is there something missing from your new bits?
