URGENT, please help

I'm having a very bad week, the timing belt snaped on my car on Monday so that was one. Took bike for it's MOT and failed. So I reconditioned brake calipers..blah blah blah..

Anyway, I've been using the bike all week no problems, just come to fire it up for work now and nothing. The lights come on, the neutral light and oil light come on but it just won't start up. There's no clicking or nothing. I've checked the fuses including the 30 amp one and they seem fine. The kill switch is off, so it's not that. I've put a meter accross the two battery terminals near the 30 amp fuse and getting 12v so the battery is fine. I've put a meter on the starter motor and there's no power getting to that.

Any help please, I'm absolutely knackered without car and bike.

I could be wrong but I don't think you get power to the starter motor unless the starter button is pressed. Have you checked the usual suspects clutch switch under switchgear on left had side

PS. it's a curvy K1

I've just tried pushing it forward whilst in gear to see if starter motor was sticking but still nothing

Kill switch needs to be on not off.

Check the side stand switch also.

Sounds like either the clutch lever cutout switch or the sidestand switch.
