Got back to my usual 5 miles tonight. Man that was tough going though. I felt like stopping a few times when my breathing got a bit quick. Managed it though

As soon as I stopped to walk at the end both of my calves started cramping up. Next time should be easier hopefully

Finally made it out for a short run around my local loop. Felt really god to be back out there after a week, and a pretty respectable pace for me given the terrain!

All set for the rest of the day now.

Well I finally got my sorry carcass out yesterday morning. 7.3 miles.
I'm a bit achy today, as it's been awhile - working on my shed all afternoon probably didn't help.

Good man! I got out for my short local loop yesterday but didn't log it as the battery went flat on my Garmin. I'm heading out for a longer run tomorrow and the Garmin is working again now so I'll log it.

Yay! Made it out early this morning for 7.87 miles of hills, riverside, and woodland. A good steady run, very enjoyable.

The temptation now is to flop in a chair but I can't as I have too much to do today!

Superb afternoon running in the Breidden Hills with a bunch of canicrossers from Powys, Shropshire, and Clwyd groups. All three summits and 2051ft of ascent in 1hr 26m of moving time.

Mabel is now flaked out in her bed!

Heading for the first summit.

It was a brilliant afternoon. While I was running fabulous trails and hills in the Breiddens, my wife was slogging round the pavements of London in the London Marathon. I know which one I would rather do!

I'm going to organize some more of these canicross hill runs.

Got out on Sunday. Me, my missus and my two boys on their bikes. It wasn't the fastest run due to the other three people constantly stopping to blow their noses etc. But it was an enjoyable 7.5 miles.
