air compresser for air tools advice needed
im looking to get a compresser to run an impact gun and stuf like that
but im not that up to speed on them i have been looking at a v twin 3hp comp with 50l tank with 15cmf and and 6 bar for £170 do you think that would be adequet also any good sites to get air lines allready made up with quick relese fittings basically any advice would be good PS sorry for spelling no spell check on this pc ta |

check the tools themselves, they normally provide the air consumption figures. Also take into account how long they will be operated for, a larger tank will let you run the tool for longer without waiting for the compressor to fill it every five minutes.

not to bothered about waiting for the tank to fill as its not going to get used loads just to losen bolts on the car
ok the gun i want specs at 4cfm 90psi 270lb ft or 5.6cfm 90psi 450lb ft ohh and these are the actuall spec of the compressor 230v Single Phase Compressor 50 Litre capacity receiver MWP 116psi 8 Bar 14cfm |

The compressor will be fine mate, it will run 3 x the 1st tool without a prob.

Check your fittings can deliver the flow rate. I ended up having to fit a 1/2" fitting and bigger pipe to drive my impact guns.
