|
would a bagster tank cover/bag for a curvy tank fit a pointy
as i've seen one that's for the curvy models. plus it's only in the curvy model that they seem to do it in blue! (black only for pointy, according to www.bagster.com)
If not, what's a good make to look out for (I'm buying 2nd hand btw)? |

The cover won't, but almost, if not all, bags will fit once you've got the cover. Surprised you can only get a pointy cover in black though.
I'm gonna have a chat with the Baglux people at the BMF this weekend, so I'll ask 'em.........................................if I remember

cool, is that in peterborough? i might be going up there myself, in which case i'll consider what prices they have there
 but i think even at a show i don't wanna pay new prices...just looked again at the bagster web site - there are 3 models, and after you select the model you select the year, right? well it's got some kinda interesting selections...when i looked before, i picked 'SV 650' and '2003' and also looked at 'SV 650 N/S' and '2003-2006'. They only have black (or chocolate?!) as the available tank colours... But i just tried 'SV 650' and '2003/2004' and lo and behold - baltic blue! (which appears to be the blue that matches my bike). - SV 650 (1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2003/2004, 2004) - SV 650 N/S (2003-2006, 2005, 2005/2006, 2006) - SV 650 S (1999, 2000) I don't understand their logic... |

Yep it's at Peterborough. £15 to get in though, unless you've got the £2 voucher out of this weeks MCN. Usually Baglux don't do show prices IIRC. The BalticBlue is what I have on my 2000 candy blue. Pretty good match for that.
Best hope one comes up on e-bay or here. It got mine for £30 off there. |

I have a blue cover and blue bag both colour matched for the K3 K4 K5 pointies. If you want to pay more than £100 quid for both, then pm me.

cheers thor - i'm looking to get it as cheap as possible but i need one by june 22nd as i'm off to germany, i will probably look for ones cheaper than that first - but if i need one i may be back
 Are you looking for £100 then? how much are they new? |
