Just think of the price when the "cheaper/sooner" job goes wrong and you get called to sort it out.

Wouldn't be the first time that's happened

Got a text from him yesterday evening saying he had found someone who can start it earlier so he doesn't need me to do the job now.
Don't suppose there is anything you can do about it if you haven't started work on the job, unless you have ordered materials specifically for the project. All very unfair though.

Luckily my favourites are Lidl own brand Dulce Gusto pods

As I've been stuck working from home since mid-March I have gotten rather attached to my 11am ritual of grinding some beans and brewing a mini French press of coffee every day. Yes it adds five minutes to the prep and you have to rinse/wash the pot afterwards, but the brew is MILES better than anything instant and way greener than any pod system. Plus the press takes up a lot less room than a dedicated machine.

I do this too. I used to buy ground coffee to use in it but I recently bought a grinder.

You can get a subscription to coffee suppliers like Grind.

Don't add ER to the end, otherwise you get something else.

But I still haven't found anything to beat the Lidl coffee I like. Must be some kind of heathen.

I treated myself to one of the Sage machines a while back and couldn't live without it - or something similar.
I like to try different coffees and flirt between different roasters such as Coffee Compass, Black Cat, Rave, Origin, Peak Bean ...

Weather forecast in Kent looked favourable so planned to go for a short ride, got the SV out of hibernation, pressed the starter and ... click click click! Only 11v in the battery. Thats what you get when you don't use the bike for weeks on end eh! My fault entirely as I neglected to use my battery charger/conditioner too. Oh well ... on charge now so hoping to go out for the first time in six weeks in about an hour, time for checking tyres, fuel, chain lube etc.
