My mates interesting bike.
My mate has been trying to show me his new bike for a while now and he finally showed up with this:
A 1978 Honda CBX. Inline 6. The thing is so wide it's unbelievable! Awesome and interesting and certainly not what I was expecting to see when I went to go see it.

Always loved CBX's the turbine like smoothness of the engine for one

I remember when it came out (I was young then....not riding...no honestly) and it was jaw droppingly fantastic looking. That and the Kwak Z1300 were real stunners. Don't see too may of either around now. Envy, envy...

We used to meet up at a bike park near our bus station, where one bloke turned up on a brand new one, which his Daddy had bought for him, nobody liked this guy, as Daddy regularly bought him new bikes. Twas a nice bike though

Re: My mates interesting bike.
you see more cbx's around now then you did when they sold them new,but you dont see many unrestored dirty/rusty ones about like the one pictured, every one i see looks factory fresh having either hardly used from new and imported from the states,or having had at least 10k spent on them to restore it,as the spares are very hard to come by and very expensive
