So 29 years of happyish marriage and I finally discovered part of the female psychy.
I went with her and her list to the supermarket. She normally takes my plastic. So substitute me for cost control.
So we are walking the length of the supermarket. When I realise she has passed aisle that contain list items. About turn retrieve required item continue about turn.

I realised she shops in list order. Not store order. No wonder it takes her so long with the extra mile backward forward up down. But also passing all the stuff not on her list is far too tempting not to end up in the trolley.

I hope once the bandages come off and my eye sight is restored to see her shop far more efficiently. The time she will save. the reduced walking and more appropriately the cost reduction as she no longer passes by frivolous purchases.

Wish me well for a speedy recovery.

Lol. My wife hates shopping with me because I don't browse. Years ago when we used to go to tesco for the weekly shop we would both take a separate trolley. I would do one side of the store (with a list in store order) and she'd browse her side with no list. We'd met up at the tills.

It was slushy here this morning.
Added to pitch blank with minimal (no) street lights. Led to an interesting ride in.

I was a little slower than normal.

This is a gripe/observation of the day . . .

For those who want to get the Vaccine, are you aware the Government has indemnified Pfizer against being sued - for me, that's a sign of lack of confidence about its success rate and potential safety.

And here is the Government docs about the Vaccines, its usage, who it is/isn't safe for & potential side effects. Note it has not been tested on Pregnant people, Breastfeeding Mothers, Those looking to conceive or the impact on fertility.

Docs link

Wasn't aware of that, so that means WE ,the public , have indemnified the drug company ! I suppose you could say though that it is a sign of confidence in the success rate and safety if the government is prepared to do that. Assuming you think the government knows what it is doing that is !!!

I think more likely the opposite, i'm a sceptic; More than likely i would assume it is because it has not been fully tested to ensure it's safe, so they need to indemnify them as they're pushing for it to be produced. I imagine it is part of a deal that was struck.

The adverse reactions seem to be:
Swollen lymph nodes
Headache
Bit of a sore arm.

The interesting bit is the drug interactions haven't been assessed.

With the vaccine being used on a proportion of the population that will be taking other drugs. The drug company is going to need some protection from litigation unless the gov wants to wait another few years.

That's a good point, hadn't thought of that. How are we or even doctors going to know . A lot of people as they get older will be on heart/blood pressure related medication for one thing.

I will be having the vaccine when it's my turn. However, I remember the Thalidomide tragedy - they said that was safe too. It was also a German developed pharmaceutical.
