Was down at Quatt this morning...

...and thought I recognised this big bloke in a www.SV650.org T shirt. He had already seen my D650 on his way into the bike park so knew I was lurking somewhere. It was Marshall. Anyway I inspected his fabulous Daytona. Beuatiful red, it looks terrific. He has done a terrific job of fixing it up after his off - hige diesel slick - just a few bits left to do. And then he started it up - boy it's loud!! Very very loud in fact. Can had a baffle in too.

aye was a good run out, went from the Quatt cafe down to Craven arms, then newtown, welshpool back up to telford and home. slowly getting my confidence back.

need a new rear tyre now though

but is should be good enough for Bassetts on Tuesday

Nice run from there to Craven Arms through Corvedale. Even better from Craven Arms to Newtown via Churchstoke, this (in reverse) was part of AR06.

Meant to say - I was there with darylB. Daryl has just started IAM stuff, today's run was from Telford (Wylies) down to Quatt, and I tagged along for the ride. Kwak - I only knew I was going late last night, sorry!!!

Nice ride back to Shrewsbury (it's about 23 miles), made it in record time

By a quirk of fate I'm likely to be at Quatt again tomorrow morning, prob around 10.30 - 11ish. Bike mate Karl' s back from his jollies and wants to go for a ride, so Craven Arms and Quatt it is.

Sorry if everyone else finds this boring, we need a Midlands section...
