Cracked wheel - SV650.org

Got k3 sv650 3 weeks ago. Documented 2500 miles on clock. Finally got round to giving it a good clean especially rear wheel. Found hairline cracks where two of the spokes meet the rim, scary considering used it everyday for work 50 mile round trip. Dealer picking it up in morning. God bless a 3 month warranty.

Sounds scary, and pretty unusual. Does the wheel still hold air? Given what I put the rear wheel on my SV through I'd be really interested to hear what the dealers opinion is when they see it.

Dealer agrees they are cracks. They hoped to get the wheel x-rayed, but there is a 3 week turnaround time for this service so they have sourced a replacement wheel. Getting bike delivered back tomorrow morning. Really great dealer customer support, 3 cheers for Chris Hall motorcycles Doncaster.

Tyre remains inflated as cracks are across the slightly curved joint where the spokes meet the rim.
