Well done, currently back in Norfolk for the weekend and it's killing me that I'm not allowed to run. We did go for a 7 mile walk today, half of it with a 4 year old on my shoulders. What made it worse was that we were walking along a trail when hundreds of people ran the other way doing the Norfolk Coastal Marathon and Half Marathon. I might have to look into trying the half next year. Only two weeks till I see the physio again.

Hope it gets sorted soon Martin, it's murder watching others run when you're not allowed to.

I want to get some miles in this week as I'm doing Shrewsbury parkrun next Saturday. My PB there is 23.02 and I'm going to have a crack at a sub 23.00 run.

Damn. No Trust10k at Chirk for me today. I'm going down with a cold and running in the rain would not be the smartest move I suspect.

Weather looks good here for the coming week so I should be able to get a few drier runs in hopefully, as long as the cold doesn't get too serious.

I've not run since Saturday and I really need to get out too. Still got this cold though and my friend around the corner who used to run a lot, competitively keeps telling me I shouldn't run with a cold as it can cause respiratory problems. Thing is I'm so fed up with not running I might risk it and go for a gentle run tomorrow morning.

Made it out for a run this morning, with a friend up the lane from me. It was so good to get out and we made it back just as it was starting to get hot.

Stunningly beautiful morning, so busy gawping at the views (which I've seen hundreds of times and never tire of seeing) I'm surprised I didn't trip over something on the way round!

Back to Shrewsbury parkrun for the first time in ages for their 5th birthday. Beautiful morning and great to see so many familiar faces. About 40 seconds off my pb for this course though. Good run nonetheless.

Out yesterday with a friend for an early morning run over the allt and through the forest. Beautiful morning and a good way to start the day! Only a short 3.5 mile run as it was all time allowed, but good to get out there.
