Default GSXR front end conversion - will K5 GSXR 1000 yokes fit??

Another GSXR front end question, sorry!

The yokes and stem I have got (but not arrived yet) are from a K5 GSXR 1000.

Do these fit the pointy SV650 like the K4 yokes, Im sure they do but have had some doubt cast into my mind that they may be diffrent

Can anyone confirm if they are diffrent or not???

Cheers
Kieran

Thanks mate, probably am going for some GSXR 600 ones now as the smaller headnut will allow me to retain my trick Scott damper on the bike rather having to leave it off the bike due to the bigger headnut size on the GSXR 1000 ones.

Will decide when I have both yokes to compare and I can trail fit with the other parts, and sell whichever set I dont use!

So for anyone reading there will be a mint set of yokes for sale soon if you also fancy doing the GSXR front end swap on your pointy.

Kieran

P.S: as per PM will revert next week on the clipons if required

Its not just the nut its the slight diffrence in shape of the Top yoke that stops the fitting kit for the damper fitting.

The same fitting kit they supply is used on the K1-K3 GSXR 600 / 750 but no the 1000 so using the yokes from the GSXR 600 makes more sense as the damper was a pricy bit of kit that I like, would be a shame not to fit it.

Will just re-sell the GSXR 1000 yokes if that is the route I go down.

What a strange question to ask on a SV owners site!

Because its not a V-twin, and I've no whish to change it!

Love the bike, hate the budget suspension Suzuki popped on it.

And I love tinkering with the bike
