Now as a rate payer. I begrudge paying over the odds. but you would think plod would be a bit more careful. but it takes some nerve to nick the lead flashing and stone cappings etc from a police station

This list was released under a freedom of information request on Lancs constabulary.

I would guess many items don't have a defined value. Therefore whoever records their loss allocates a notional value. sometimes they may be accurate other times way out.
