SSS X Ring Chain
It's replacement chain time for the SV. I've never done it before and need to know whether the SSS X-ring chain will fit as I've found one for £50. That's a good £30 less than the shops.

In practice there's no difference between 'O' ring and 'X' ring chains. They both have seals in them that mean the only bit that can be lubed is the outer roller and the chain/sprocket meshing surfaces. It's claimed that 'X' ring chains are better sealed with less seal friction than 'O' ring chains, but you'd be hard pressed to tell the difference.
PS Have used a couple of SSS chains, found them to be perfectly acceptable quality.

I had a SSS O-ring and thought it was crap as it only lasted a few thousand miles.
I bought my Iris Gold X-ring from BFM for £55 delivered and it appears to be a far better chain. . |

On my mate's recommendation I used Buster's (www.busters-accessories.co.uk) and got a complete set of EK X-ring gold plus two JT sprockets for £84.99, post was a fiver I think.

BFM are £62.50. What am I looking for number wise? I know links can be grinded but what about the width of the chain?
