Default Performance bike magazine

If anyone is interested, i understand this months issue of Performance bike has a 'set up' guide for '04 SV650.
Not that ive actually seen it yet and it may be a load of rubbish for all i know!

If this is the suspension thing, a couple of people have criticised it for the abscence of a photo "how to".

Read it, not so much a how-to, more like..... Nyah! Nyah! We can and you can't!

Save your money, the article is garbage. It tells you a little about how to set your sag, and indicates a few things that you could try but doesn't actually try any of them except stiffer springs, and even then it didn't occur to them to reset the preload till they figured out it was riding too high at the front.

There are articles on here (sv650.org) about how to set up sag, which springs you want (and you do want them), and which weight fork oil to use depending on your weight. As for the GSXR shock thing, I'm still in the dark as to whether or not it's a real goer or a cheap upgrade, but this wasn't followed up in PB either.

I remember now why I stopped buying bike mags...

If you want a how-to and can't find it on here, say so and we'll sort something out.
