The more I think about it recon gonna to keep the sv for daily commute / work , as it's nice not to worry leaving an expensive bike lying around and parked in some dodgy areas + really cheap to run and look at getting another bike to add to the stable
Bikes not a shed just well used , and has not missed a beat in 50k , Skellerns @ Worcester did not really know how to give a price as their books did not go up this high mileage wise , seemed to think that bikes > 20k were going to explode ? Cheers Steve

My 05 with 31k was valued REALLY poorly at part ex, seems most people have bikes as toys and never use them.

When you get a px valuation from a dealer, one of the biggest pricing factors in their books is the mileage. Your bike is definitely worth a lot more than £900, but they seem to assume that high-mileage = poor condition. If your bike's been looked after properly, the engine is as good at 50k than 5k.

Sounds like the kind of bike a dealer would give buttons for unfirtunately. It'll end up being traded out dirt cheap or broken for spares.

Don't bother px ing it just add to the stable. It obviously owes you nothing having given you 50,000 miles. Use it for the commute and treat yourself to something for the weekend/blast
