Well, the sun is out, temperature has gone up a few degrees, the snow is melting rapidly, and my mood has instantly lifted!

Out on my first job now and even the prospect of dealing with Talk Talk isn't quite so depressing now.

Found the 20% discount offer on ebay in time (missed it last time) and saved £68 on a new TCT chop saw. Result!

Despite my gripe of the day, my smile of the day is:
Sitting by the fire watching it snow outside the window against a background of pine trees, with absolutely nowhere
to go go or nothing to do.
All prepared for the snow, not leaving the house till Monday.
(and only then because I have to go to work)
I love a good snow when it can be a weekend away from the world, my own private winter wonderland.

I get that. It can often be a good excuse to do nothing and indulge yourself.

The heat of the sun shining through the patio doors means the heating doesn't need to be on.

My contract runs out on Thursday so I will be under-employed again. This may sound like s gripe but it means I get a few weeks off and I can go to the gym when it's not absolutely packed like it was after work today.
