The Enfield can beat the current SV hands down in any test of mudguard performance and bungee friendliness.
And the Enfield tank fits perfectly with all the other bits, unlike the current SV which has hideous plastic panelling hiding a hideous mess.
The current SV is a really good bike and a genuine bargain, but its very far from perfect.

47 ponies and 38ft/lb - wow, I'll keep my AL7, can't see the ' badly fitted tank' and all the other ' bad bits ' when I am riding it anyway, but the extra 30 gee gees and more torque suits me.

Very true about the spec, but 47 ponies are more than enough.
I'll probably keep my AL7 too, but the Enfield has a certain something which appeals to me.

That and the aesthetics.
It looks like a proper motorbike should.

Time will tell.
I wouldn't dream of buying one for at least two years after release.

I like it.
