Had the valve check done (15,300 miles) and all is well inside the limits. No adjustment needed.

DJ and eldest went to Comicon and I didn't have to go, well worth a smile, but even better I took youngest to a local horse show (next door to where we keep his horse) and we had a fantastic day topped by him coming second in the under 14's 70cm jumping with his new horse and this is despite the poor child being bitten by a horse fly on the back of his neck just before he started jumping.

Met author Ben Aaranovitch at Comic Con with eldest today. Fantastic author and nice bloke to boot. Actually, if you like Neil Gaiman-y like fantasy novels, another fine author and genuinely nice bloke is James Brogden. He hasn't got a proper book deal yet, but his second (excellent) novel, Tourmaline, is available on Amazon. Bought the follow up today, I'll try to remember to let you all know if it's as good as the first.

Did mine last weekend, both sets of exhaust valves were at minimum, but within spec. After an oil leak and an ill fitted gasket, all is now well. Happy I decided to do it myself!
