Looks like we got crossed wires Adam. I was referring to the Shock Factory mentioned in this thread, who sell the M-Shock, not the YSS shocks.
cheers

As long as you don't buy from Russia (as if you would anyway !)

If you're worried about extra charges buying from France, order via https://www.windingroads.co.uk/ Price you see is the price you pay.

Thanks, will have to give them a call. They're the site I found who does not have a listing for Suzukis.

Just need to decide if the extra £100 is worth it for the semi adjustable compression damping.

Depends on your riding style and what you plan to do with the bike. For normal street riding, the basic M shock is adequate but if you ride hard or want to take the bike on track days, the extra compression might be worth it. You could always give Mike at Shock Factory a call. He's very helpful.

I was thinking more along the lines of the basic M Shock adjusting compression and rebound in a fixed ratio vs the YSS shock that only adjusts rebound. I can get a YSS for a sniff under £300 vs the £390 of the M Shock.

I'm all street riding, no plans for any track days, although I do like a "spirited" ride and like to be able to feel what the bike is doing under me (apart from bucking me out of the saddle!)

those m shocks look ok but make sure that they will service them also that the spring is on the lighter side as the SV650 K3>10 does not like a stiff spring due to rising rate linkage (it gets stiffer as the wheel moves up).

weigh yourself with ALL your gear on including helmet and gloves, if you ride with a top box add that as well. once you have set your weight on the webpage configuration give them a phone and ask what Lb of spring they are actually going to put on. if the spring they spec has just moved over to the next lb then ask for the lower rated spring.

get the details of the spring they spec for your weight then ask on here if its suitable. suspension people are notorious for chucking on anything they have in stock.
