Default Whats Crewe like...

I may have the opportunity to relocate rather than be made redundant.... but the possibility would be in Crewe

So... Can anyone give me honest info what crewe is like to live in rather than guess from what I can find on the web before I tell them if i'd be willing to consider it...

Thanks in advance for any wisdom

Crewe is a small town in west Cheshire, famous for being a small town in west Cheshire.

It is a one-horse town, that horse being called "Crewe Railway Station". Excellent access to the national rail network.

The fact that it's in Cheshire is a very good thing...... God's own county. Crewe itself ain't that special, but it ain't that bad either. You can get to some very beautiful places very quickly.

Reduncancy or Crewe? Unless you have very strong reasons not to relocate then I'd take the Crewe option

Fairly good place to relocate to in that prices are not out of this world, so sell your southern shed and buy a cheshire mansion for the same cash.

Personally I wouldn't live in crewe, but there are a lot of very nice places not to far out

I used to go there with work quite a bit - it's nothing special but not that bad.

As others have said, there are some really nice places just outside of Crewe. There's a lovely sandwich shop near the Alexandra Stadium....think it's called Finnigan's or something!

Ask Mister C, he lives there, like someone said its in Cheshire so its all good then actually Cheshire is a pretty decent place to live and you,ll get a hell of a lot more for your money up here than darn sarf when you come to look at properties, plus you can go and join the border patrol and go play in N.Wales at the weekend

Are you sure it's not "Mrs. Lovett's pie shop" you know with the Barbers above it...?
