Re: I have a hard decision to make, Help
I've said it before and I'll say it again, anything over a 500cc (CB500/GS500/ER5) is an indulgence, it's a heart over mind choice, so sense and logic don't come into IMHO, on that basis if one must go, it'd be the pointy I'm afraid.
Cheers Mark.

Get rid of the person that's telling you to get rid of the bikes.

Yes, bang on the point Nelson.
Dont sell cos you are told to. Only if you have to, or want to. If you are selling to raise money the 05 will raise more. If you are selling as someone else thinks two toys is excessive then its a heart wrenching decision which one of the three must go. 2001 model, 2005 model or the two legged model? Sell the oldest...hahaha bye honey |

Sell the pointy.
21k is nothing to an SV, and as said you'll get more money for the pointy and very little for the curvy.

Ahh the two bikes in the best colour
Hard choice that, I would have the points myself and then get some lowers. |

Re: I have a hard decision to make, Help
Pointy will raise more cash but the question is which do you enjoy riding and will you be allowed the money to freshen up the curvy a bit?

Re: I have a hard decision to make, Help
I was going to say exactly the same as Fallenangel. If the funds from the sale go towards the bike I'd probably sell pointy and keep curvy, using the new found ackers to give it a make over.
If not, I'd probably keep the pointy and put a top box on it or something... |
