Already have one although it's in a much tattier state.
Not going to buy any more until I'm back from China, (famous last words!)

I've just been emailing a guy on ebay about a Lynx1000, would be about a fiver plus postage, not quite figured out if it's all working or if I'm just asking because it's there. Meter seems to work, it wind and fires, could quiz him about the RF but not sure if there's a point. Got the Minolta AL which needs a new RF mirror but otherwise works. The Lynx has a case though, but then so do my Konica S an Olympus S! Kenzie, you've go one of those haven't you?

Yeah I have a 1000, not a bad camera, as with all old Yashicas they can be weighty. Mine had a film transport issue but that was easily fixed, also my rf mirror had fallen off, but a spot of glue was all it needed. I think Yoko has one too.

Does anyone have a junk OM1? I need the shutter speed inner ring and detent ball.

Aye, I picked a cheap one up on ebay. Seems to work but not put a film through it yet. Got a 5000 too. The rangefinder patch on the 1000 is quite weak and it's hard to focus without putting reading glasses on, which vanity dictates I unfortunately cannot do.

Hmm might as well leave it, if I fix the Minolta then it's the same spec and more or less size and weight anyway. The seller doesn't know much so difficult to know if it really works

Was it a 1000 or a 5000?

1000 so selenium meter. I've checked over the Contessamat and resoldered the wire, it meters fine in low light e.g. 1/30 f5.6 ISO200, but in bright light it's about two stops overexposed. Think I might take the film out again. Everything works apart from that. Again think I bought it because it was there! Am not very decisive at the moment as you can tell. Best not to look at ebay at times like this!

Probably not the best idea to buy for the sake of it, otherwise you will end up with 200+ cameras like me! I was looking at the K1000 that you posted up but I haven't shot with the one I bought two years ago.
