Noise testing is something the organisers have to do as part of their "contract" with the circuit, however they are not looking to try and spoil anyones day. You do need to pass, and there are various tricks to scrape through (red bull can up the pipe anyone?) and then once you are through you are very unlikely to get pulled or tested again. My GSXR passes no problem with the db killer in, but there is no way I'd go out on circuit with it still in place and they know it.....it's only held in with one tiny bolt.

You just need to watch it at some circuits, Goodwood for example, where they have noise meters around the circuit and you can sometimes set these off.

Incoming.......

Cheeky request no1:

Yo Phil, You're taking a van - can you throw a foot pump in the back? got limitted luggage capabilities on the 400 due absence of most of the rear subframe.

Cheeky Request No2:

Where are the 600 photos....?

Cheeky Request No3:

Electric kettle, teabags & Milk? (Would of course contribute to the milk & Tea bags....

Course then there's the 3 piece suite, widescreen telly etc but next time eh?

Ian, if you have any spare levers, I'd take those, cable ties and gaffa tape.

I wouldn't take a decorative 1/100 scale model of the titanic though.

I am taking a van and as luck would have it my company recently bought me a foot pump! I shall bring it along.

600 photo's will have to wait. I keep forgetting to take it with me when I go work on the bike and besides, now I've frickin lost it! It's either in the house somewhere or I lost it on the ride-out last weekend!

I will bring tea making stuff if I remember so pm me next friday!!

Regards

Are you actually riding Matt or still just coming to spectate. Would be good if you're out on track...

as in almost start your bike without the end can loud? i'd say if you have a baffle for it binky take it with you in case or at least take a few empty coke cans and if need be get someone there to show you how to bodge a baffle from them, lol.
