Re: Pilot Power 3
I had them on my sv650N K3, fantastic for grip at fast speeds once worn in but not sure how long they will last.
Wear rate seems to be even as im a sunday rider and do mostly backroads rather than the odd commute. How much did you pay fully fitted if I may ask? |

Re: Pilot Power 3
Yeah they're grippy to touch and seem to give more drive out of corners than the Pures or 2CT's.
Not taken it on track yet but perfectly adequate and stable for road. Its more seeing how they wear to see if they are as good as they say (20% better wear than 2CT's apparently). I got about 7k from the rear 2CT's. Not fitted the front yet so can't tell about performance under braking/turning etc. |

Re: Pilot Power 3
Perfomance under braking is great, they give great feedback throughout the corner and havent squirmed at all from anything I threw at them.
Would definately recommend them. |

Re: Pilot Power 3
Got a pair of these waiting for me at B & C Performance Tyres in Bolton which are being fitted on Saturday. Got them a good bit cheaper with mates rates and will be on track with them on 19th April. They do feel sticky to the touch even from new so Im quite looking forward to getting them scrubbed in and testing them properly.

Re: Pilot Power 3
Well, did 150 miles on these to scrub them in yesterday and I was impressed. They seem to warm up quickly, especially when the top temperature outside was about 4 or 5 degrees. They have a great turn of direction and have a brilliant blend of communication without feeling twitchy. Granted, I didnt go mad with them as I was just scrubbing them in but Im looking forward to using them on track now.
